The twin-screw motor passenger. liner Aramis under construction at the yard of the Forges et Ch. de la Mediterrance, Is for the Moss- Agerles-Maritimes,-and-is-a-vessel of 15,000 tons gross. Accommoda- 'tion is provided for 185 first class, 133 second class and 850 steerage passengers, whilst four are berthed in luxury suites and four in cabínes de luxe. In addition, 10,200 tons of cargo will be carried. The Aramis is 664 ft. long with a beam of 49 ft. 9ins., and a draught of 28ft., the depth to C deck being about 47 ft.

The machinery con- sists of two fen cylinder. Sulzer units developing a total of 11,600
