Rugby, Yesterday. In the presence of French and Italian Air Attaches, and of the Chairman of the Schneider Trophy Committee the draw for the starting order of the ma- chines in the Schneider race on September 12 took place at the Royal Aero Club to-day. The re- sult is as follows:

Great Britain first, France second and Italy third.

One machine of each country will start in that order, and the second and third machines will follow in the same order.

The decision, reached in Man. chester to-day of the Cotton Operatives to negotiate with em- ployers on "more looms" system about which, a serious trade dis- pute occurred during the Winter, is regarded as an important ad- vance towards recganisation of the Lancashire Cotton Industry, leading to the increase of the in- dustry's competitive power in foreign markets-British Wire- less Service.
