EX-KAISER AND, N.Y.K.,
The old maritime keenness dis- played by the ex-Kaiser, now some, what faded in retirement at Doorn, flashes up again in his message to the N.Y.K. He has shown close in- terest in the new Ilner Yasukun! Maru, and asked for pictures and drawings.
These were forthcoming from the London branch, and aroused much pleasure that the former em-
so
peror sent a signed portrait of himself, which now hangs in the offices of the Hamburg agents of the N.Y.K., Messrs. Phs. Van Ommeren.
