Mr. Scott was on board the salvage ship Artiglio, owned by an Italian company-which made à suc- cess of using "shells" to allow divers to reach depths impossible for men in the usual rubber diving suits, The Artiglio in 1929 and 1980 found the wreck of the Egypt sunk in 400 feet of water 90 miles from the coast of Brittany.
