The highest levels recorded are: Shiuhing, 41 feet; Tsing yuen, 29.2 feet; Samshui, 27.8 feet; Sheklung,, 11.5 feet.

The lowest levels on record are minus 5 feet at Samahul and minus 2.7 feet at Sheklung.
