Pun Wo, a foki of the Kwong Hee Tallow shop, 27, North Street, has notified the Criminal Inves tigation Department of an armed robbery, which was perpetrated, by two Chinese at 2.30 o'clck this morning.

Pun stated that he was sleeping In the shop, when he was sudden. ly awakened by sounds of pushing. The front door had been shut' but was not locked, so that when he finally got out of bed to see what was the matter, he was confronte ed by two intruders, one armed with a revolver and the other with a dagger. Adopting the usual threats, the men tried to gag Pun with a piece of cloth, but the vic tim shouted "Save life."

The robbers then fed, but one was arrested by a Chinese con [stable in the street. Nothing had

been stolen.
