New Scoring Rule. An interesting feature will be the new method of scoring which provides that in the event of any particular set reaching five games all only two more games are, to be played. The side winning a set, one point shall be awarded: in the event of the set finishing six-all, half a point shall be award- ed to each pair. Two league points are to be allotted to each match, which shall be awarded to the team winning more than four and a half match points. If each side wins four and a half match points, the match is considered a draw, and each team is awarded one league point.
