OFF SINGAPORE.

Repairs to Be Made in Sourabaya.

An extraordinary development has followed the collision OT Singapore in the early hours of January 15 which resulted in seri ous damage to the s.s, Silvermaple, says the Straits Times.

It was reported at the time tha the Silvermaple,

atcel-screst motor-vessel of 5,302 tons gross with a length of about 426 feet, a beam of 58 feet and a depth of 28 feet, built in 1927, ran head-on into the hull Arrateon Apcar in the quarantine anchorage. Nelther vessel was in danger of sinking but the damage was severe.
