Blue Funnel Captain.

The Liverpool Journal of Com merce publishes Illustrations of full- ize models of the Banff brig Gael and a full-rigged ship, the hull being that of the Loch Ness and the call plan that of the famous Cutty Sark. Both have been made by Captain T. W. Davidson, inaster of the Alfred Halt Blue Funnel) liner Peleus, and an inspection of them ebows the wonderful patience and remarkable accuracy that he has shown in his work.

The models have taken him threoj and a half years to build, and they are wonderful examples of the work that can

be produced by a ship- master, who, prior to being in com mand of some of Liverpool's finest, liners, has also had extensive ex perience in sailing ships of bygone days, and has thus had practical,

In addition to the model of the Gael, Captain Jones has also one of another ship which he very highly prizes, and which has been present. ed to him by his brother, Captain

R. E. Jones, L-Commander R.N.R (retired), who is at present living at Llandudno. This is in a glass case, and is of the Conway Castle, also belonging to Liverpool, and tho three together form a very striking position in the ownership of sailing abips,
