TRIPLE TRAGEDY IN CAINE ROAD.

INQUEST SHORTLY,

It was officially stated at Polico Headquarters this morning, that Chan Hang-sik, pawn-broker in Shek-ki, who was shot in the neck. by a bullet in the Caine Road shoot-

ing affair at 2.30 on Wednesday. afternoon, died in the Government Civil Hospital yesterday morning at

9.30.

It will be recalled that a mer- chant, San Fong-hing, aged 41, and living at 127, Caine Road, drew a revolver and fired at his account- aut, Lei Kwai-ching, who was kill- ed on the spot. The pawnbroker was the next victim; after which the merchant is thought to have shot | himself through the head.

On enquiries made, the China Mail learned that the date of the inquest has not yet been fixed.
