Over 3,000 Burmans, big and petty landowners, rice millers and cultivators, with a sprinkling of Chinese and a few Chattlar hank- ers of the Insvin district, assembled recently at U Po Mya's rice mul, Taikky, to suggest and discuss ways and means of relieving the present impoverished financial state of those people in the Insein district connected with the rice trade.
