The resolution was carried un- animously.

The Chairman.-Ladies and gen- tlemen,-It is now my privilege and pleasure to propose the

re- election of Mr. Desmond Tuck and Sir Reginald Tuck as directora of the company.

Mr. D. F. Macpherson seconded the resolution, and it was animously approved.

Sir Reginald Tuck's Remarks. Sir Reginald Tuck, B., in knowledging his re-election, said: The Postcard, Relief Scrap, and Art Novelty departments, which come directly under my supervi- sion, I think I can say have added their full quota to the profits of the company, and I feel quite optimistic about the future of those departments under my con- trol. Tuck's Postcard Exchange Register increases from year to year and we have some 3,000 names of persona exchanging Tuck's post- cards in all parts of the world.

My recent visit to Australia, New Zealand, and Canada proved most satisfactory and beneficial in every way. I was able to meet a great number of customers, who have been doing business with us for many years, and it was most gratifying to see our goods fully represented in every city I visited. (Hear, hear.) The name Raphael Tuck is a household word in all these countries, and I can safely say that your interests are being studied in every possible way.

Post war prosperity in Africa as well as the advent of the civilised art of concocting your own alcoholic supply has defeated a certain extent the purposes of this treaty.

Proposals are now under way in League circles to have either the Mandates Commission or the Leaguo Assembly itself take steps for the revision of the St. Germain treaty in order to make it liquor proof- United Press.

The teeth were removed from the upper part of his stomatch, but Mr. Rhodes died from the shock of the operation, and a verdict of "Suicide while of unsound mind" was return- ed at the inquest,
