The drunkenness conviction of Individual County Borough for 1929 range from 6.3 per cent. of their 1913 figure, in the case of Lincoln, to 112.1 per cent, in the case of Southend-on- Sea. The latter is the only County Borough showing for 1929 a figure exceeding that for 1918. It is pointed out that, in the meantime, Southend's population has greatly increased.
