The Boy Scouts of an American town recently held a "No-lat-tyre” campaign in the neighbourhood.

During the period the Scouts removed nails, sharp stones, places: of glasa, sticks and anything Hke ly to cause a puncture from the roads. The, local motor club took a particular interest in the novel "good turn."

In California the Scouts con- ducted a "clean-up" campaign in one of the cities. They turned particular attention to all the woods and vacant spaces in the vicinity and were given the help! of the municipal street-cleaning department.
