HONG KONG TIDE
The tide-table given below has been obtained by aid of the Titc-predict- ing Machine, which includes 40 com- ponents for the batter prediction of tides, from the result of the analysis of the tidal observations, taken at the Kowloon tidal observatory under the direction of Dr. Doberck during the years 1887, 1888 and 1889.
The times and heights are given fer Kowloon; but they may be used for the Vistoria Naval Yard and Aberdeen, the differences being very small.
The times of high and low-water must not be considered to coincide with the times of slack-water and change of current, the two phenomena being qulta distinct.
