HONG KONG TIDE
The tide-table given below has been obtained by aid of the Tide-predict- ing Machine, which includes 40 com- ponents for the better prediction of Udes, from the result of the analysis of the tidal observations, taken at
the Kowloon tidal observatory under the direction of Dr. Doberck during the years 1887, 1888 and 1889.
The times and heights are givan for. Kowloon; but they may be used for the Victoria Naval Yard, and Aberdron, the differences being very small,
The times of high and low-water to coinelde must not be considered
of slack-water and with the times change of current, the two phenomena being quite distinct.
