VETERINARY ASSOCIATION'S THREE CLAUSES.

The National Veterinary Medical Association held a special confer ence at Central Hall, Westminster, to discuss the grading of milk under the Milk (Special Designations) Orders of the Ministry of Health.

The conference Secided that milk should be divided into three grades: Milk guaranteed clean and free from tuberculosis.

Milk clinically examined; and Pasteurised milk.

Calcutta, August 19. The latest sensation in connec- tion with the recent theft of Ra. 189,000 belonging to the Royal Calcutta Turf Club is the arrest of Mr. F. Binning, the manager of the totalizator.

'Mr. Binning's duty, it is under- stood, was to Bec personally to the locking up of the money in the strong room of the Club in Russell Street.

The question of a probable In- terport hockey match with Shang- hai early next year was left in the hands of the Chairman, whe
