On arrival of the R.M.S. Em.. press of Canada yesterday a cass of larceny was reported to the Water Polico by Chan Tao, No. 1 Saleen "boy" on board the ship.

He stated that whilst the ship was on a „voyage from Vancouver to the Sandwich Islands, on August 12, he missed the key of his safe, and had no option buc to break it open. Then he 'found

3 that the safe had been emptied of its contents comprising $1,820 in Hong Kong currency and $450 U.S. eurrency.
