The pass- age from Singapore to Naples will occupy 21 days and the ports of call will be Port. Swettenham, Fenang, Colombo und Port Said, These vessels should appeal to travellers bound for the United Kingdom or Continent as they have excellent, though limited. passenger accommodation, while their passage rates' are moderate. The tide-table given below has been obtained by "nid of the Tide-predict ing Machine, which includes 40 com- ponents for the better prediction of ides, from the result of the analysis of the tidal observations, taken at the Kowloon tidal observatory under the direction of. Dr. Doberck during the years 1887, 1888 and 1885,

for Kowloon; but they may be used for the Victoria Naval Yard and Aberdeen, the differences being very small.
