Ladies' Events.

It was gratifying to note that the ladies were given two events on the programme all to them- selves instead of the hitherto one 50 yards awim. Miss E. Booth did very well to win both the ladies' 50 yards handicap and the one length blindfold race. In the former event she had very tough opposition and had to go all out to win. Thanks to her ability to keep a fairly straight course in the blindfold race, Miss Booth won this event comfortably, and was enthusiastically applauded for
