The tide-table, given below has been obtained by aid of the Tile-proutst ing Machine, which includes 40 com- ponents for the better prediction of tides, from the result of the analyals of the tidel observations, taken at the Kowloon tidal observatory under the direction of Dr. Dobeck during the years 1887, 1888 and 1889

The times and heights are given for Kowloon; but they may be used Aberdeen, the differences being very for the Victoria Naval Yard and small.

The times of high and low-water wkh the times myst not, bp considered to coincide of slack-water and change of current, the two phenomena being quito distinct.
