Tientsin, July 7. The Chinese Press has given considerable prominence to an inei- dent in the Third Prison of Hopel situated in the western suburbs of the Tientsin City, in which nearly A hundred prisoners on counter revolutionary charges declared hunger-strike as a protest against alleged improper treatment to them in the prison.
