The tide-table given below), has been obtained by aid of the Tide-pre- dieting Machine, which includes 40 components for the better prediction of tides, from the risal of the analysis of the tidal observations, taken at the Kowloon tidal observa tory under the direction of Dr Döberek during the years 1887, 1888 and 1889.

The times and heights are, given far Kowloon; but they may be used for the Victoria Nava)Yard: and Aberdeen, the differences being very small.

The times of high and low-water must not be tonaldered to comeilę. with the times of slack-water and changa of current, the two phenazzana belt quite distinct.
