Death of Owner of Grand National Race Course,

FORMER MASTER OF HORSE

Rugby. Yesterday.

The death is announced of the Earl of Sefton, the well-known sporting Peer, whose large estates at Liverpool included the Grand Na- tional Race Course.

In his younger days, the Earl did much big game hunting in Africa, He was Master

of Horse in 1908-7 under the Liberal Government, having charge of all matters relating to the King's stables, but resigned owing to dis- agreement with the Government's polley-British Wireless Service.

[Lord Osbert Cecil Molyneux was the sixth Earl of Sefton, and was 69 years of age. He was formerly a

Lieutenant in the 2nd. Life Guards and owned about 34.000 acres in Liverpool. He is succeeded in the title by his son and heir, Viscount Molyneux, a Captain in the Royal Horse Guards, who was born in 1808.]
