NEW SUBMARINES. Three of the "R" Class Launched at Barrow.

London, Yesterday. Three submarines, the Regent, Rover, and Regulus, were launch- ed to-day by Messrs. Vickers Armstrong's yard at Barrow for the British Admiralty. Since the War, 24 submarines have been constructed by Britain, as well as two for Australia. The British Navy has a total of 74 submarines.
