"The Ghost Talks" at the Queen's.

A new phase in the detection of criminals, that of scientifle study, leaps into the limelight in the Fox Movietone all-talkie "The Ghost Talks," starring Charles Eaton and Helen Tweltrees, which is being screened at the Queen's Theatre to-day finally, at 2.30, 5.10, 7.15 and 9.20 p.m., respectively,

As the title implies, the film is a thriller, but is not without humour.

Preceding the talkie fim, there| is screened a Hearst Metrotone, in which one is thrilled, to see the ateamer. Muenchen burning at the New York wharf.. It was specta- calar to see the French Guard

San Francisco, April 21. The Chinese actor, Mei Lan- fang. here after a triumphal tour in the Eastern states, to-day re- calved word that he had been elected an honorary member of the China Society of America, in New York.

The actor spent to-day visiting the mayor of the city, Mr. Rolph, the president of the Chamber of Commerce, and other prominent persons. He thanked all citizens for the reception accorded, him on hia arrival in the United States and his reception when he reach- ed here on Sunday on his way back to China.

were arraigned, in the Magis trate's court in New York on March 11 on charges of félonlous Assault and were described by the police department as "communist pests of which the city should be 'rid.".
