A minor mystery was the divid| Armony end paid by Christmas Chimes in Done Again the ninth race. Picalilli was made | Gay Caballero a big favourite here, Four Clubs Monk and Winsome Stag being next in demand. Christmas Chimes took
the race comfortably by three lengths, and paid $32.30, thua show- ing the public judgment to be sadly at fault. Four Clubs never showed jup at all, whilst Picalill was run out coming up the straight, Win- some Stag beating it out of second place.

IN OPPOSITION TO-MORROW.
Three Other Games Scheduled.
(By "Roamer") Cht interest is centred in the meeting of the Navy and Chinese Athi to "A" on the Club Ground to morrow. The result of this en counter has a direct bearing on the Junior Championship. Although Chinese Athletic "A"'s goal aver age is against them they have the assumed advantage of being in s stronger position through only hav. ing lost four points in their 23 con- texts. They have pet to meet the R.A.M.C., Kowloon, the Navy, St. Joseph's and the re-play with the Somersets, to complete their pro- gramme, ao to-morrow's game is one of the two difficult hurdles to nego tiate.
The Navy have Club to

Two matches in the Second Division of the Hong Kong Football League were decided yesterday afternoon, with the following resuite:—-
Chinese Athletic "A" 3' R.A.M.C. Chinese Athletic "B" 3 Eastern ง 2 Another match, Kowlcon v. South China "B", was not played.
The results have placed the Chinese Athletic "A" and the Royal Navy on [an equal footing in the League table, with 44 points each, which is four points below the total of 48 set up, by the K.D.S.B. who completed all their fixtures before leaving the Colony and are so far at the top of the League.
The Chinese Athletic "A" are, how ever, the only team a position to pass the K.O.S.B.'s total because they still
Unplaced runners ($00 each), have four matches in hand whereas the Royal Navy have only one and even if they win the remaining fixture their total would be only 40. The Chinesa chance of securing the championship, is resy as it does not seem Impossible for them to secure six points in four matches. Two wins and two draws will do the trick.
