NAVAL DISASTER.

The men who were killed in the explosion on H.M.S. Sepoy on Tuesday died, as it will probably go down in the ship's log, "in the performance. of their duty." It was an honourable death, if not
an heroic one; not heroic because it came suddenly and without warning, so that we may feel gratified to know that to most of the victims the end was without pain. It was an accident and, as euch, must have had a cause.
