"Airlie" Opened in Kowloon.

The Airlie Hotel, recently open- ed in Kowloon the China Mail learns, is under European manage- ment, and caters especially for those guests who may require the maximum of courteous and eff clent service, together with quiet and homelike surroundings.

The hotel, which is located in Nathan Road, has 35 airy rooms which are to be let singly or as apartments. The hotel is only three minutes from the Star Ferry, and special attention is given to the cuisine.

Mr. J. C. Podrigues, well known in the local hotel business an "Roddy," has joined the Airlie Hotel staff. He was reception clerk at the Peninsula Hotel pre- viously, having been there since it was first opened.
