Ho Ka-lau yesterday defeated an ex-champion of the Colony in Ng Sze-kwong after a strenuous match. Ng Sze-kwong carried all before him in the first two sets, but he lacked that stamina that should have given him that all important

Another link with old prize-ring days has been severed by the death at St. Loula of Dan E. Daly, at the age of 63. Forty years ago Daly fought Tommy White of Omaha, far 91 rounds, which ended in a draw.
