WILL RECREIO BEAT SOUTH CHINA?
Clash Between The Services
[By "Roamer"]
Two Senior fixtures, of the re- maining fifteen, are down for de- cision to-morrow.
South China are at home to Recreio to pull up their February 18 game and it is to be hoped that Recreio will be able to field their team to-morrow and get the game decided as our football season is now on the wane. At King's Park last November the home side were trounced to the tune of four goals, but South China will have to do better than they did against the Police recently if they desire to confirm that form. An interesting struggle should be witnessed, and I predict Recreio having their sue- cessful run broken.
A
The other Senior game is the Club versus the Police. After the Police holding South China to goalless draw this month I shall expect them to reverse the verdict of their previous meeting. Theru is little to choose between the sides except that the Police defence has
been penetrated more often. They have a chance of getting nearer the "Saints" at the foot of the table by bagging both points which they should do by about the odd goal in three.
Division II
An interesting encounter be tween the Service is to be staged on Navy's Ground at Happy Valley, With the "Gunnera" poor sharp- shooters 1 fully expect the Navy to run out good winners.
hopeful of the Senior Service keep ing their goal intact and register ing, say, half a dozen of the best. to improve their goal average and continue to threaten the K.O.S.B. for the Junior Trophy.
The Somersets are due at the Stadium to contest the two points with Chinese "A". The "Sets" are up againat very strong opposition for they have only lost four points throughout the whole season. their own ground I predict Chinese "A" sending the "Sets". away pointless.
On
Ewo beat the Club last Saturday by the only goal scored, so I am ex- pectant of the Club thirsting for revenge for that defeat, but, with Ewe having the services of an old Interport keeper, I fancy Ewo to continue their run of successes.
The R.A.M.C. will meet Eastern on the Military ground at Sookum- pos, and I predict Eastern having
a comfortable victory.

The Fincher brothers were at the top of their form yesterday, defeating a very formidable pair In the Lo brothers. This match attracted a large crowd to the H.K.C.C. ground and there is no doubt that they were treated to some brilliant tennis at times.
Although they lost the first set at 6-3 after leading 3-1, the Fincher brothers dominated the
play in the next three sets by Bome extraordinarily accurate placing. Even M. W. Lo's power- ful forehand drive was wasted on them. The winners were parti- cularly strong at the net, as against the weakness in this phase of the opponents.
