Each tender must be accompanied by a receipt to the effect that Tenderer has deposited in the Colònial Treasury a sum of $100 in respect of any quarry as a pledge of the bona fides of his offer, which sum shall be forfeited to the Crown, if the Tenderer refuses to carry out his tender and comply with the conditions, should the tender be accepted.

Form of tender and further particulars can be obtained from the office of the Director of Public Works.

The Government does not bird itself to accept the highest or any tender.
