The C.P.3. Empress of Asia, which has been in the Kowloon Docks, under- going repairs, has proved a popular rendezvous for thieves.

This morning at the Kowloon Magis- tracy, before Mr. Whyte-Smith, two charges of Marceny were brought against Wong Wah, unemployed, and Wu Leung, an employee of the Docks, [respectively.

The former was accused of the theft of a metal watch, the property of Mr. Frank Spencer, an engineer on the ship, and in the second instance Mr. Charles A. Stirling, Master-at-Arms, prosecuted Wu Leung for the theft of In Bourdon pressure gauge, valued at

$30,.the property of the ship.
