Power Recreation Club held its third annual "At Home" on the Club ground at King's Park, when a large gathering of members and their friends spent a very en Joyable time.

Children's sports were held, and there were such attractions for the young ones as coconut shles, bran tuba, and a Punch and Judy show.

The car, au Erakino Saloon, sud- denly swerved and shot over the em- bankment just below the Prison et Laichikok, crashing into a small hut on the slope below the road.

The occupants of the car were Mr. R. G. Craig, of the Kowloon Dock, Capt. R. G. Groundwater, and Mr. W. J. Rattey, also of the Dock, and a lady and child. They all had a miraculous escape, but the car it- self alco sustained slight damage, only the front mudguards being dented. The extraordinary thing about the accident was that the wind-screen and headlights remain ed intact. Three of the passengers received small bruises and 'were
