The Fleet repair ship Resource, which
Vickers-Armstrongs, Ltd., have built at Barrow-in-Furness for the Royal Navy, is a more than ordinarily interesting example of British shipbuilding. She la 534ft. in overall length, 500ft. in length between perpendiculars, 83ft. in moulded breadth, and 49ft. in depth from the upper deck. The load draft is 33ft. The general structure of the hull, except where modified to meet special require- ments, is in accordance with Lloyd's Register's latest rules for Class 100 Al, although the ship has not been built under Lloyd's Register survey,
