Mrs. Kalmus, an accom- plished young artist and costume designer, is in charge of this work. Special cameras arc used in colour work. These machines are ronted to the studio. When scenes are shot the negative is taken to the laboratory and early prints sent back the following day of the picture in the making.

When B film is finally shot, the scenes are placed together into one continuous film. The colour, like the sound recording treatment, is on the strip of film negative itself.
