HONG KONG TIDE
The tide-table given below has been obtained by ald of the Tide-pre- dicting Machine, which includes 40 components for the better prediction of tides, from the result of the Analysis of the tidal observations, taken at the Kowloon tidal observa tory under the direction of Dr. Doberck during the years 1887, 1889 and 1889,
The times and heights are given for Kowloon; but they may be used for the Victoria Naval Yard and Aberdeen, the differences being very
small
The times of high and low-water must not be considered to coincide with the times of slack-water and change of current, the two phenomena being quite distinct.
