School Activities

Of activities in connection with the social life of the school, be- cause of the lack of hall and play- ing fields, there are few, but those that exist have their faithful fol- lawers who derive pleasure and give benefit to others by their energies.

From Misa Ileang,, who is in charge of the Victoria Nursing Division of the St. John Ambulance, I have the following report:-- Victoria Nursing Division "At the beginning of the year, members of the Division attend. ed at the Government Civil Hos pital for duty, and these visits were found to be of real prac tical value.

The Division was present for inspection, and formed a Guard of Honour on the occasion of the visit to the Colony of His Royal Highness, the Duke of Glouces- ter.

A course of lectures was given by Mrs. Dovey in October. Thir- teen members were re-examined in First Aid, and all passed. Members were re-certified as Public Vaccinators, and are tak- ing part in the vaccination cam. paign. In the school 122 pupils have been re-vaccinated by mam bers of the Division

Five are probationers at the Govern ment Civil Hospital, and other past pupils are nursing at the Tsan Yuk Hospital, the Kwong Wah, the Nethersole, and the Tang Wah Eastern Hospital.
