A COURTEOUS ACTION
Tho bit of Holland which f now for ever Czecho-Slovakia deserves a place in the record of international agreements in 1929. Commentus, the- Bohemian teacher-hero, died in 1670 at Amsterdam. He was buried in the little Gothic church of Naarden and over his bones the Czecho-Slovak Gov- ernment exchanged diplomatic notes with the Government of the Nether lands. The Dutch Government refus ed to part with Commenius. It did botter: it gave the church at Narden as a present to Czecho-Slovakia!
