Eloquent Appeal For Funds

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The annual meeting of the Hong Kong Boy Scouts Association was held yesterday in the Cathedral Hall. The Hon. Dr. R. HL Kotewall, C.M.G., LL.D., who presided, made an eloquent appeal for funds so that the Association could acquire a suitable training camp for the movement.

Addressing the meeting, the Hon, Dr. Kotewall sald, inter alia:-

"I very much regret that His Excellency the Governor, who is our local Chlef Scout, is unable through pressure of public dutles to come and preside at this meet- ing. That duty has consequently devolved upon me as President of the, Association.
