An official of Dunlops stated that their aim was to produce a ball at a shilling, the pre-war price of a high-class lawn tennis ball.

Messrs. Jaques, whose tennis ball is sold to the public at 14s. 6d. per daten, are now prepared to seli them to clubs at 14s. per dozen.
