On the night of December 10, the most severe battle so far was fought between the Ironsides and the National troops at Liang Lung Hu resulting in the former being completely beaten, with one en- tire brigade under General Ng

Kie-fei, being destroyed. From this engagement, over 4,000 rides and war materials, and 3,000 pri- soners fell into the hands of the Government. The Ironside mtenants have retreated to Chung Fa. where they are now being sar rounded, and their ex-termination is expected very shortly.
