Announcement has been made by the Paramount Famous Lasky Cor poration of the completion of a series of talking and singing films in 13 different languages. These
new films are not duplications, in Janother tongue, of American-made pictures, but are specially made pro- ductions featuring famous actors and actresses, as well as other.pub- lic characters, from all over the world. Even Esperanto is repre- sented in this effort to supply all countries with native language sound pictures.
All subjects are of one and two reel length, and the languages covered are Spanish, Portuguese, English, Finnish, Esperanto, French, Italian, Russian, Japanese, Swedish, German, Czecho-Slovakian and Welsh.
