Hankow, Yesterday.

It is learned from foreign sources this evening that the Kuominchun have occupied Lachokow, but de- tails of the occupation have not been ascertained. It does not ap- pear that there had been any severe Aghting. It is officially stated that the arrival of the eighth and thirteenth divisions nt Sincheng has considerably relieved the situa- tion, and official confidence is ex- pressed that the Kuominchun will soon be rooted out from Mihalen jand Tengfeng.

A thousand Kuominehun prison ers arrived here from the front, and it is believed that they will be in- terned at Wuchang. Further batches of the fifth division, which revolted at Sinyeh, have also ar- rived and are being reorganised under new officers-Beuter.
