INTERPORT CRICKET

(Continued from Page 4.)

The University opened the game in strong style but Arnison and Harrison began to feel at home and the Univer- alty batsmen had a comparatively hot time of it.

Harrison bowled remarkably well, eventually having wickets to lis credit for a matter of 50 odd runs. Corporal Skinner also obtained a good average, 3 wickets for 29 runs. The batting in some cases for the Univer sity was very good considering the na- ure of the bowling and fielding they had to contend with.

Good Batting →

The R.E. and Signals team played very well together and some good scores were put up, especially that by Corporal Deavell who was run out after scoring 41 runs.

Hiptools obtained the best bowling average for the University, this being 4 wickets for 29 runs. Altogether, the R.E. and Signals won on account of their good batsmanship. The scores
