Machinery Installation Electric light is fitted throughout, Crompton Parkinson generator, driven power being supplied by a 10 kw. by a 10% b.h.p. steam engine by W. Saone and Co., Ltd. A 44 kw. Marconi wireless set is installed.

Steam steering gear of the Wilson Pirrle type, and controlled from the bridge by Brown's telemotor gear is fitted aft, and hand steering gear.
