THE KING'S RETURN TO LONDON FROM WINDSOR, A GREAT WELCOME AND SEMI-STATE PAGEANTRY.-Dense crowds lined the gally decorated route to give a warm welcome to HM the King, as with H.M. the Queen, he drove through London to Buckingham Palace from Windsor, after an absence of 20 weeks. The first part of the journey was undertaken by motor car but, an arrival at Kensington. a change was made to an open coach with postillions and riders, and the journey was continued through Hyde Park, etc., in semi-state. Here is a general view of the enormous crowd that gathered outside Buckingham Palace to welcome the King. The Royal party may be seen on the balcony on the left--(Sport and General).
