TO AMALGAMATE WITH SAILORS HOME

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

The annual report of the Missions to Seamen in Hong Kong, which renched the "China Mail" this morning, states in part:-

The Sailors' Home, West Point, and the Seamen's Institute, Praya East, are to be amalgamated and a new Institu- tion to be known as "The Sailors' Home and Seamen's Institute," well worthy of the men, whom it is to serve, is to built on the new Praya East Re- clamation water-front.
