HONG KONG TIDE,
The tide table given below has been obtained by aid of the Tide-predicting Machine, which includes 40 compon- ents for the better prediction of tides, from the result of the aralysis of the tidal observations, taken at the Kow- Joon tidal observatory under the direction of Dr. Doberck during the years 1887, 1888 and 1889.
The times and heights are given for Kowloon; but they may be used for the Victoria Naval Yard and Aberdeen, the differences being very small
The times of high-and low-water must not be considered to coincide with the times of slack-water and change of current, the two phenomena being quite distinct.
