At the Land Office yesterday. Kow- loon Inland Lot No. 2198, at the junc- tion of Prince Edward and Waterloo- roads was sold by public auction. The
land has an area of about 34,400 and carries an annual square feet Crown rent of $230. The upset prico was $17,200, and it was knocked down to the Credit Foncier d'Extreme Orient for $28,000.
